Overview

Are you a Key Stage 1 teacher who is looking for an exciting, part-time role this academic year?

A school in Kingstanding is looking for an innovative teacher to work Monday - Wednesday from September 2025, on an ongoing basis. This role does have some planning responsibilities, so requires an individual who has strong Key Stage 1 curriculum knowledge. This class does have some children with SEND, so you will be required to plan your lessons accordingly, and ensure that all lessons are achievable for a variety of ability and SEND.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver lessons for Key Stage 1 with consideration for SEND, ensuring tasks are accessible to pupils of varying ability levels.
  • Demonstrate strong KS1 curriculum knowledge and contribute to planning where required.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that inspires children, staff and parents alike.
Qualifications
  • You must have QTS
  • An enthusiastic, well-motivated and talented classroom practitioner
  • Ability to inspire children, staff and parents alike
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • A friendly caring nature
  • The capacity to identify and target specific, individual needs
  • Keen to learn and develop professionally
  • Ability to create an environment that nurtures and stimulates positive attitudes, independence and an innovative approach to facilitating learning and teaching
