As our next Year 2 Teacher, you'll be at the heart of our students' educational journeys. Located in Barking, our school is a well-established and thriving learning environment. Responsibilities
  • Teaching with passion: Designing and delivering engaging, interactive lessons that capture students' imaginations and help them make meaningful progress in their literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Building strong foundations: Supporting children through the transition from Key Stage 1, ensuring they develop strong academic foundations and a love for learning.
  • Creating a supportive atmosphere: Developing a classroom culture where children feel valued, encouraged, and motivated to do their best.
  • Tracking and supporting progress: Regularly assess students' work and provide constructive feedback to support their individual growth.
  • Collaborative teamwork: Working closely with colleagues to plan, share ideas, and create a rich and varied curriculum that supports all learners.
  • Parental engagement: Maintaining strong, open lines of communication with parents, keeping them updated on their child's progress and supporting them in their educational journey.

Qualifications
  • Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
