About the role?

Are you looking for a new role in an innovative and supportive school? We are looking for an experienced Primary School Teacher who is able to deliver the curriculum to a Year 1 class in a Castle Bromwich primary school. We are seeking a vibrant teacher with the ability to deliver engaging, creative and fun lessons from January 2026. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom teacher with experience of teaching in Year 1 or within the KS1 curriculum. Applications and CVs from ECTs are also welcomed.

Responsibilities
  • You will be creating engaging and inspiring lessons for the students.
  • You will be delivering National Curriculum subjects appropriate to Year 1.
  • You will be differentiating for all ability levels, including SEN.
  • You will encourage imaginative, hands‑on learning among your pupils.
  • You will maintain discipline and promote positive behaviour.
  • You will be able to build strong relationships with students and colleagues within your team.
Requirements
  • Relevant teaching qualifications (QTS essential).
  • Experience within a Year 1 class or the KS1 curriculum.
  • Must be able to obtain references and DBS checks.
  • Able to work with various abilities, with strong and clear communication skills.
