Yard Shunter Location : Whitland Shift : Monday to Friday, Days Term: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence?

About the Role

As a Class 1 Shunter, you will:

• Assist with general yard duties as needed to maintain site efficiency and safety.
• Move vehicles from the yard to the workshop for their inspection.
• Load trailers so they are prepared for their brake tests.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and tidy by using the designated HGV washing facility.
• Conduct thorough daily vehicle safety inspections using the company-issued mobile device to ensure optimal vehicle performance and compliance.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Attend regular training sessions to stay up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously enhancing your skills and expertise.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Forklift License (training can be provided for the right candidate).
