Job description

Applications are invited for the posts of HGV Collection and Delivery Driver (Yardperson) for Mertrux.

This is a full time position and will be based at Mertrux Derby. Mertrux is the leading Mercedes-Benz and FUSO Commercial Vehicle Dealer in the East Midlands. With dealerships in Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Mansfield we are committed to keeping businesses moving. Reporting to the After Sales Manager, your main duties will include collection & delivery of vehicles from customer’s premises, organising the yard of customer vehicles (van/truck) and ensuring the correct vehicles are available for the Technicians to work on at the right time.

We are looking for a fully qualified driver who has had previous experience of working in a Commercial Vehicle or transport environment. You need to be honest, enthusiastic, hardworking, self‑motivated and be able to drive vehicles up to and including HGV Class 1.

Hours

14.30 – 23:00 Monday to Thursday | 13.30 – 21:00 Friday
