Job Overview

Our sister company YellowStone Environmental Solutions are looking to employ a Yard Operative to work within their busy Waste Management Site based at Shaftesbury. You will be working as part of a team but also individually when tasked.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Yard Staff with the acceptance and disposal of Waste.
• Labelling and storage of waste.
• Cleaning of site and associated areas.
• Assisting in stock control.
• Assisting staff with the disposal of containers, drums, IBCs and general site waste.
• Operation of power tools.
• Any other general yard duties as directed by the General Manager.
• Forklift duties (Full Training will be provided).
• Confined Space Operative duties (Full Training will be provided).
• Full training will be given in all aspects of the yard operation leading to a positive progression for the right candidate and a permanent full time contract.

Hours of Work and Remuneration

0800 - 1700 - Monday to Friday.
Flexible working hours will be required, early starts and late finishes.
Overtime available as required.
£12.21 per hour.
Immediate Start Available.
