Pertemps Lincoln are currently recruiting for a Workshop Operative to join our client in Lincoln. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity. The role is varied and hands‑on, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and wants to develop their skills within a busy manufacturing environment.

What will I be doing as a Workshop Operative?
  • Building working with timber and plywood, creating products to specific customer requirements
  • Using hand and power tools, including saws and nail gun
  • Packing customer products
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within safety guidelines
  • Keeping your work area clean and organised throughout the day
  • Occasionally assisting with off‑site work when required
What skills and experience do I need?
  • Previous workshop or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Full UK driving licence - desirable but not essential
  • Forklift licence - desirable but not essential
  • Experience using bench saws or power tools would be advantageous
  • Physically fit and able to work on your feet throughout the shift
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently once trained
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to Health & Safety
What hours will I be working?

Monday to Friday - 07:15 to 15:30. Overtime available depending on business needs.

What will I be paid?

£12.21ph + (Depends on your experience)
