Overview

Workplace Experience Facilitator - Fixed Term Contract

Location: Bradford, with travel required to different sites. Work type: Fixed term contract for 12 months, full time, 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Workplace Experience Facilitator to join the Land & Property team at Yorkshire Water. Could this be you?

What we do

We provide essential water and wastewater services to the Yorkshire region, ensuring clean and safe drinking water and responsible wastewater management. We look after communities, protect the environment, and support the region’s health, wellbeing, and prosperity.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver an efficient Workplace Experience Service function, including managing Reception, Helpdesk and Mail room services.
  • Be the first point of contact for all building users, visitors, and contractors for physical attendance and service system requests and email queries.
  • Act as the prime facilitator for issues and queries between visitors, building users, contractors, and Building Control Team.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources as necessary.
  • Manage site booking in/out protocols, including induction processes for visitors/contractors.
  • Answer incoming phone calls professionally, determine purpose, own queries, and provide correct information.
  • Log and manage incidents/requests on the service system (SAM) and provide feedback and updates.
  • Manage mail controls – receipt, distribution, processing, franking and bagging external mail, and processing courier requests.
What skills & qualifications you will need
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing environment with a commitment to excellent service.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow documented policies and procedures.
  • Strong prioritisation, time and workload management.
  • Confidentiality and a practical, common-sense approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate team-building skills.
  • Flexible approach with the ability to cover different roles within the wider Administration team (including holiday cover).
  • Awareness or knowledge of finance is beneficial.
  • Driving licence required for role; travel between sites and out-of-hours coverage once every 8 weeks.
