Job description
JOB TITLE: Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant
LOCATION: Remote / EMEA-based
COMMITMENT: Fulltime (REMOTE)
Contract Duration: 6+ Months (Possibility of extension)

We are seeking an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Solution Architect to join on a contract basis. This is a senior-level role requiring both technical expertise and leadership skills to manage implementations and provide hands-on configuration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a technical expert in Workday Adaptive Planning, maintaining certification and knowledge of integration options.
  • Champion solution delivery guidelines and support quality assurance across multiple projects.
  • Manage all phases of Workday Adaptive Planning implementations, including:
  • Collaborating with clients to assess current planning processes and migrate legacy models.
  • Designing tailored solutions aligned to client requirements, budgets, and timelines.
  • Facilitating design sessions and guiding configuration decisions based on best practices.
  • Leading projects as both a solution architect and hands-on configurator, while supporting teams across the project portfolio.
  • Provide thought leadership in planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with senior client stakeholders, including formal presentations.
Essential Requirements
  • Workday Adaptive Planning Platform Certification
  • Proven track record in multiple Adaptive Planning or EPM implementations at a senior level
  • Strong background in accounting / financial management, particularly budgeting, planning, and management reporting
  • Expertise in Workday-specific delivery methodologies, with the ability to manage projects to these standards
  • Broad business and technology knowledge, with awareness of industry trends
  • Demonstrated leadership skills: ability to lead, delegate, and mentor teams
  • Strong client-facing skills, with experience working alongside senior executives
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Commercial awareness of service organisation utilisation targets
Desirable
  • Professional accounting qualification(s) such as ACA, CPA, CMA, CIMA, CIA, or ACCA
