Wireless Operations Engineer - Hampshire, UK

Rate: £40k

Type: Onsite, Full-time

Location: Hampshire, UK

Are you an experienced Wireless Operations Engineer looking to take the next step in cutting-edge downhole technology around the world? Have a strong background in mechanical/electrical engineering, ready to put it to the test? Then this sounds like the perfect role for you.

What you'll be doing:
  • Supporting the safe installation and commissioning of WWS tools globally
  • Prepare, test, pack, and track equipment for deployment
  • Assist with risk assessments, FATs, SITs and operational documentation
  • Follow all safety and compliance protocols, including Management of Change (MOC)
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and report findings to supervisors
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor equipment condition
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients
  • Participate in training and competency development programs
  • Supporting engineering trials and provide operational feedback
  • Travelling to different locations regularly (average 80-120 days a year)
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Experience in mechanical/electrical fields
  • Experienced in Drill Stem Testing
  • Ability to work independently in small teams, often in remote or challenging locations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety quality, and continuous learning
  • Ability to travel globally, when required
