A healthcare organization in Greater London is seeking a Wheelchair Technician to support the mobility service for clients with long-term disabilities. You will be responsible for assessing, prescribing, and handing over wheelchairs while assisting therapists during clinic sessions. Ideal candidates must possess a Level 3 qualification in health and social care, and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and a compassionate approach towards vulnerable clients. This position offers a salary ranging from £30,546 to £32,207 per annum, inclusive of HCAS.

An exciting opportunity has come up for a technician to join the Wheelchair Service. The service completes mobility, postural and pressure care assessments for adults and children with long term disabilities. The team consists of therapists, technicians and the administration team. We are looking for a motivated individual who can demonstrate efficient working, superior organisational skills and the compassion and professionalism essential for working with vulnerable clients. It is important to us that the successful candidate not only has the skills to do the job but is kind, considerate and recognises how important wheelchairs are to those who use them.

Please note: This vacancy does not meet the criteria for Skilled Worker sponsorship, unless you meet the criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025.
