A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Welfare Assistant to provide support during lunch for Primary School pupils with additional needs, located in Skelmersdale. Key Stage Teacher Supply are working in partnership with a specialist school in Skelmersdale who support Primary School Aged pupils with additional needs. The school are looking to recruit a Welfare Assistant to cover over the lunch period, in the classroom setting from 11.30am-1.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Have you had experience of supporting children or young adults with additional needs? Are you looking to get your foot in the door of a Specialist School? Are you looking for work to fit around your own childcare?
Due to an increase in pupil numbers, the role is to start as soon as possible and they are keen to find somebody to support for the last term. It will be a long term role with the view to have the opportunity to apply to transfer over to a permanent contract or to transition into the classroom, for the right person.
