Qualifications

  • Significant experience as a Welding Engineer / Coordinator in rail or heavy industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of EN-15085 standards.
  • Aware of metallurgy and welding process technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead internalisation of outsourced welding activities.
  • Supervise welding processes to ensure safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and manage Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
  • Collaborate with third parties for welding procedure validation.
  • Liaise with teams to support New Product Introductions.

Skills

Technical knowledge of welding and brazing standards
Strong written and verbal English skills
Problem-solving skills

Education

HNC / HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline

Tools

CSWIP or NDT qualifications
