Fabricator/Welder

About the Role

We are an established, growing manufacturing business looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our in‑house fabrication team. You'll be working with modern equipment including a 3kW fibre laser and a 125T press brake, producing high‑quality fabricated components in a hands‑on workshop environment.

This is a rural, workshop‑based position - a full UK driving licence and reliable transport are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high‑quality MIG and TIG welding
  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Produce accurate work with excellent attention to detail
  • Manage workload, time and job ownership
  • Recommend fabrication processes and suppliers where needed
  • Follow all health & safety procedures
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping and production reporting
  • Support general workshop activities and assist team members
About You
  • Proven experience in fabrication/welding
  • Strong MIG & TIG welding ability
  • Confidence working with a press brake
  • The ability to work independently and within a small team
  • A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Good communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Reliable transport and ability to commute to Alcester and later Greet
