Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced welder/fabricator to work with an industry-leading manufacturer in Burnley. The role offers a pay rate of £15.90 and involves welding and fabricating various metals. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of welding experience, specifically with Mig and Tig techniques, and be comfortable working independently. This is a temp to perm opportunity with excellent transport links across Greater Manchester and Lancashire.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in welding/fabrication.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
• Experience welding on a variety of metals including aluminium.

Responsibilities

• Welding and fabricating components according to specifications.
• Supporting in the machine shop as needed.
• Cutting, drilling, grinding, and polishing materials.
• Maintaining health and safety standards on site.

Search recruitment are looking for an experienced welder/fabricator to join our industry leading manufacturing client based in Burnley. The successful candidate must have Mig and Tig welding experience and be able to weld on a variety of metals. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a business that continues to grow. Duties of this role will include:

• Welding and Fabricating
• Supporting in the machine shop where necessary
• Cutting and drilling
• Grinding and polishing
• General labouring around the factory.
• Adhering to all health and safety while on site.

The successful welder must:

• Be hardworking
• Have a minimum of 2 years experience
• Be comfortable working on their own
• Be experienced welding on aluminium
