Job Summary

Our client is a well‑established water treatment company looking for a competent and hard‑working Water Treatment Service Chemist/Account Manager based in and around the Bradford area. The role involves both industrial water treatment duties and account management responsibilities. Applicants from Huddersfield, Leeds, Doncaster and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Will ideally hold a chemistry‑based degree.
  • Experience working in a service chemist role, analysing system boilers, closed systems and cooling tower water.
  • Previous experience managing a portfolio of steam boiler, cooling tower and closed system accounts.
  • Hands‑on experience delivering water hygiene duties in accordance with ACOP L8.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of the water treatment/hygiene industry.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office package.
Role
  • Chemical analysis on towers, steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
  • Maintenance of domestic and industrial water systems.
  • Routine monitoring tasks at various properties as per client requirements.
  • Providing the full range of Service Chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors.
  • Updating site log books.
  • Managing the company’s new and existing accounts, whilst generating new leads.
  • Maintaining a professional working relationship with new and existing clients.
