Our client is a well-established and expanding water treatment / Hygiene company, who provides a wide range of water treatment and legionella services to long-standing clients. Due to recent contract wins they are now looking to recruit an experienced Water Treatment Engineer / Plumber to cover a mixed portfolio of contracts in and around the Nottingham area. Qualifications & Experience:

• Must have a strong water treatment background.
• Hold a NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and hands on experience working within a plumbing role.
• Experience working within a water treatment engineer role within the water industry is essential.
• Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft office package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring client’s air and water systems to ensure compliance with current legislation.
• On site testing of cooling towers, steam boilers and closed heating/chilled systems.
• Undertake cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems.
• Cleaning and disinfection of water tanks, cooling systems and descaling calorifiers.
• Assist with cleaning and flushing of closed heating/chilled systems.
• Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysis of water systems.
• Producing accurate and comprehensive service reports.
• Carrying out remedial plumbing works when need.
• Complete and maintain logbooks.
• Maintain a strong working relationship with our large portfolio of clients.
