Job description

Our client is a highly-respected water treatment/hygiene company offering water management services to a varied client base throughout the UK. They are presently seeking the services of a versatile and hardworking Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the North West London area. The successful candidate will have hands on experience delivering a wide range of water treatment duties to a varied site bases and will ideally hold a plumbing qualification and have experience under-taking remedial works. Previous experience in remedial plumbing will also be advantageous. Consideration will be given to applications from Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Edgware and the surrounding areas.

Experience Requirements

• The applicant must come from a good chemical, technical and water hygiene/water treatment background.
• Will have vast and varied experience working within this role and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
• Will have hands on experience carrying out remedial work on a varied site base.
• Be fully conversant with the water treatment industry and legislation.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Have good client-fac­ing and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Working on prestigious sites/buildings – on-site analysis and maintenance and will include the following.
• Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems, boilers and cooling towers.
• Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling.
• Under-taking in-depth analysis of water systems including closed systems.
• Interpretation of results.
• Commissioning water systems.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as and when required.
• Completing worksheets for work carried out appropriately.
• Building and maintaining a good working rapport with clients.
