Job summary

A leading facilities management company in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Water Services Engineer. Responsibilities include maintaining waterlog books, conducting water samples, cleaning and disinfecting water systems, and performing Legionella maintenance tasks. Qualifications

• Full current driving licence is required.

• Knowledge and experience in maintaining water systems are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customers' waterlog books and complete necessary documentation.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Water Services Engineer to complete a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing, minor plumbing, electro/mechanical tasks to meet clients' requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain customers' waterlog books and complete necessary documentation according to current guidelines and company policy.
• Conduct a variety of water samples from multiple sector properties and document them in line with company procedures.
• Carry out water system cleaning and disinfection in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
• Test, service, and maintain thermostatic mixing valves along with basic plumbing works where required.
• Perform Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing, minor plumbing, electro/mechanical tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Full current driving licence.
• Basic IT skills (Microsoft package).
• Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
• Previous experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring, or Water Treatment.
• Knowledge and experience in maintaining water systems.
