  • Discipline: Water Treatment Engineers/Plumbers

Our client is an established name within the water hygiene / legionella industry and is known for providing excellent professional water treatment, water hygiene and legionella services throughout the UK. They are currently looking for an experienced, hard-working, and self-motivated Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer in and around the Chelmsford area. The ideal applicant will carry out cleaning & disinfection of stored water tanks and their associated distribution systems. Applications from London, Braintree, Southend on sea, and areas with good access to London and the M25.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Will ideally have City & Guilds Plumbing level 2 or higher.
  • Experience within the water treatment / water hygiene industry.
  • GCSE educated or equivalent.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft office package.
  • Excellent customer service, organisational, communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To carry out the upgrading of cold-water storage tanks and associated hot & cold-water distribution systems.
  • Cleaning & disinfection of stored water tanks and their associated distribution systems.
  • Delivering water sampling and monitoring duties inline with ACOP L8.
  • Under taking a range of remedial plumbing qualifications.
  • Respond to call outs when required.
  • Liaise with suppliers, clients & tenants.
  • Maintain a close customer relationship on all designated contracts.
