Job summary

A leading UK water company seeks an experienced ICA Technician for its Wastewater team in Greenwich. This role involves maintaining and enhancing wastewater assets, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and providing technical guidance. Candidates should have HNC or NVQ level 3 qualifications in instrumentation and automation, a good understanding of control systems, and excellent problem-solving skills. Competitive salary up to £47,000 per annum, with added benefits including overtime and company van.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to HNC level or NVQ level 3 in instrumentation, control and automation discipline.
  • Preferable to have an 18th Edition (BS7671) qualification.
  • Good understanding of operational plant and control systems essential.
  • Ability to read and fault find from circuit diagrams required.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out instrumentation, control and automation maintenance on wastewater assets.
  • Install, modify, and commission new plant equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plants.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance in all work.
