Job description

Hours of Work: 07:30 to 19:30, Wednesday to Friday and every second Saturday (average of 42 hours per week)

We are looking to hire a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Supervisor to work at our busy warehouse in Paisley.

You will have responsibility for the receipt, checking, sorting, picking and despatching of stock at our warehouse.

The role requires a full valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 points, a Forklift Truck licence and would suit someone who is happy to work on their own.

It's an ideal role for someone who is well organised, with strong attention to detail and previous experience of working in a warehouse is preferred. The role also requires the use of a scanner so competent IT skills are also required.

Main Duties Include
  • Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries using a scanner to add items to our stock control system;
  • Storing items based on parts ID within defined areas in the warehouse;
  • Accurately and quickly picking stock for collection or delivery in the local area;
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts to load and unload goods and move stock within the warehouse;
  • Completing regular stock audits and identifying and reporting errors;
  • Conducting regular inspections of equipment to ensure its working properly;
  • Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse ensuring health and safety requirements are met at all times; and
  • Assisting with all warehouse duties and helping colleagues with other duties as required.
