Overview

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? As our Warehouse Supervisor, you'll play a key role in overseeing the daily flow of goods—ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distribution to meet customer demands.

You’ll guide and support a dedicated warehouse team, maintain accurate inventory, and enforce safety protocols while driving continuous improvements that boost productivity and service. Position details

Position: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Belfast

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum

Shifts: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 2.30pm.

Duties
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Monitor workflow to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and returns using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure high performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Oversee equipment operation and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  • Develop and enforce safety, security, and housekeeping standards.
  • Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Generate operational reports and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and labour allocation to meet workload demands.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies, damages, or customer complaints related to warehouse operations.
Essential Criteria
  • 2-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
  • Current Counterbalance Forklift License.
