Overview

R&J Batteries are one of the biggest battery and lubricant distributors across Australia and New Zealand. We’re a family-owned company and love what we do!

This role in Welshpool will suit a self-motivated, hands-on individual who enjoys a variety of duties. You must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting while observing safe lifting practices (25kg+).

Responsibilities

• General warehousing duties
• Multi-drop off deliveries to our customer base in a timely manner
• Accurately picking and packing of orders
• Checking, charging and fitting batteries
• Assist with other branch duties when required.

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4.00pm (40 hours)

Qualifications

• A valid Forklift licence or willing to obtain one
• A valid MR licence or willing to obtain one
• Manual drivers licence and confident to drive manual preferred
• Must be able to lift repetitively up to 30kg
• Able to work independently and part of a team
• Comfortable speaking with customers
• Flexible and adaptable to working within a fast-paced, changing environment
• Ability to match numbers and have good attention to detail
• Like to have fun!
