Warehouse Operative (Picker packer)

Monday – Friday (09:00 – 13:00 – consider an adjusted start and finish time, earliest 08:00am and latest 14:00pm)

A leading Freight and Logistics company is recruiting for a part-time Warehouse Operative. You will be asked to handle daily 3PL/logistics operations across the warehouse, supporting clients and organising their stock.

Your part-time day to day will involve organising goods received, pick and pack, customer service, packaging and weighing and dispatch/courier preparation.

  • Receiving cargo from clients, processing into CargoWise or 3rd party/client portals (e.g. Odoo)
  • Printing and carrying out Pick slip instructions, with SOP checks
  • Handling & coordinating courier and sometimes freight bookings with carriers & suppliers
  • Ensuring customers are kept up to speed with stock availability, departures, delays as well as scheduled stock checks
  • Representing the company with professionalism and a flexible approach across the services clients need to ensure smooth delivery & warehousing of their cargo

  • Secondary education, any further qualifications a bonus.
  • Able to work responsibly alone, without regular supervision. But also, as a team when needed.
  • Can do attitude
  • Basic IT skills (excel, word, Microsoft Outlook / email)
  • Fluent English (spoken & written). Second language a bonus but not required.
