Contract Type: Permanent Full Time

Working Hours Per Week: 40 Hours Per Week

Salary: £14.93ph - Overtime paid at enhanced rate

Location: Unit 1, Spitfire Avenue, Skypark, Clyst Honiton, Exeter, EX5 2FR

Shift Pattern: Sunday - Thursday

Hours of Work: 01:00am - 09:30am

The role of Warehouse Operative is critical to the safe and efficient movement of parcels within our depots. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring DPD maintains its commitment to exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Executing the unloading, scanning, sorting, and loading of parcels with precision and care
  • Ensuring the swift and secure transit of items through our network
  • Handling large and heavy parcels which could weigh up to 25kg
  • Maintaining a high level of physical capability to meet the demands of the role
  • Adhering to shift patterns as part of our 365-day operational schedule
  • Upholding strict health and safety standards at all times
  • Demonstrating flexibility to work across various areas of the warehouse as required
  • Maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Exhibiting strong organisational skills to manage workload effectively
  • Performing duties efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
