Warehouse Operative

  • Annual Salary: GBP26,000 - GBP28,000 (depending on experience)
  • Location: RG2
  • Job Type: Temp to Perm - Full-time

Join a very successful and progressing company based in RG2 as a Warehouse Operative. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, loyal, and looking for an opportunity to progress within a dynamic environment. Experience as a Forklift Driver is beneficial but not essential.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Handling goods in and out, ensuring efficient stock management and storage.
  • Picking and packing orders accurately and preparing them for dispatch.
  • Loading goods for dispatch and unloading incoming goods.
  • Maintaining quality control checks to ensure high standards are met.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
  • Liaising with different departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participating in inventory counts and maintaining accurate records.
  • Working standard hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with opportunities for overtime on weekends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent attitude towards work, with a reliable and loyal character.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical fitness, capable of handling manual tasks including lifting and standing for long periods.
  • Forklift driving skills are beneficial but not essential.
