Job description

Opportunity is around the corner as we are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Truck Driver to join a well-established manufacturing company based in North Scarle.

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be a key member of a dedicated warehouse team, handling goods and materials during night shifts to ensure efficient operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow within a stable and supportive environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company who are committed to investing in their people. This is a temp-to-perm position, with permanent contracts offered to staff after successful completion of the temporary period.

What will I be paid?

• Hourly rate: £13.47 per hour.

What will I be doing as a Warehouse Operative?

• Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch during night shifts
• Loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate equipment
• Conducting stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Maintaining a clean and controlled work environment through a “clean as you go” approach Collaborating with team members to meet nightly operational targets
• Reporting any issues or discrepancies to the Shift Manager promptly

What skills and experience do I need?

• Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in food, pet food, or FMCG
• Essential to have a counterbalance licence (reach licence preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
• Positive, solution-focussed attitude
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Own transport essential due to location

Working hours: 4 on 4 off - 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am.
