Overview

Warehouse Operator – Marchington

Role and key responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day activities for goods in, including accepting deliveries, identifying products, and scanning products into location.
• Follow and promote health and safety procedures to ensure the welfare of yourself and those around you.
• In conjunction with the warehouse supervisor / warehouse manager, identify and resolve any stock anomalies.
• Develop towards a multi skilled member of the team by way of cross training within other departments across our warehouse.
• Liaise and work closely with the warehouse supervisor / warehouse manager on all matters of inventory management and control.
• General warehouse tasks and high standard of housekeeping.
• Ensure all processes and working practices comply to Company / Site procedures.
• Maintain compliance to Health and Safety policy and all other associated Accreditations and procedures.
• You must be comfortable dealing with queries on a day-to-day basis, deal with ad hoc tasks as required and be proactive in your approach to maintaining compliance with company-wide processes and procedures.

Pay rate

£13.64 per hour

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30. Rotating weekly.
