Job Summary

Part‑time warehouse operative role – 16 hours per week, Tuesday & Thursday (08:00‑16:30). 30‑minute lunch break.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our small team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various warehouse operations, including materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic logistics environment, supporting efficient warehouse functions through physical labour and equipment operation.

Duties
  • Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual handling techniques.
  • Operate customer management systems (CMS) to track inventory and manage stock levels.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch, ensuring correct quantities and product specifications are met.
  • Manage stock replenishment by stocking the warehouse efficiently and maintaining organisation of storage areas.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including preparing goods for transportation and verifying incoming deliveries.
  • Handle materials with care, adhering to health and safety standards during all tasks.
  • Perform heavy lifting safely to move goods or materials across the warehouse – maximum 25 Kg.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of forklift operation is highly advantageous but not essential.
  • Familiarity with basic IT processes.
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management and order fulfilment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a small team.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual handling duties over extended periods.
