Overview

IKEA Milton Keynes are looking to welcome warehouse operatives to join our hard-working fulfilment team. A warehouse operative handles goods from delivery to shelf, prepares and hands out customer orders, operates equipment safely, and ensures stock is managed efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with flexible shifts.

What we offer
  • Start Date of employment: 18th October 2025
  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.25 per hour
  • 32-hour contracts working 5 days per week, including weekends. Every 4th weekend off. Shifts scheduled between 5am and 10pm

  • All interviews will take place on the 1st of October

What you’ll need to have
  • Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential; enthusiasm to thrive in an active workplace
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload with attention to detail
  • Experience using technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Ability to take initiative and participate productively in team efforts
  • Must be 18 years of age or older (health and safety requirement)
What you’ll be doing day to day
  • Picking customer orders across the store for delivery or click and collect
  • Replenishment and manual handling of heavy stock
  • Working with or around heavy machinery (e.g., forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks) to transport goods safely
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations for a secure environment
