Job description

About the Role:

We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Warehouse Operatives to join our client’s team based in Basingstoke. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for individuals looking to grow within a stable and supportive logistics environment.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for the accurate handling of goods, including loading and unloading vehicles, picking and processing inbound and outbound orders for delivery throughout the UK and Europe.

Full training will be provided on the in-house Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process daily inbound and outbound orders
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
• Perform end-of-day cycle counting and stock control tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team and other departments

Requirements & Experience:

• 1–2 years’ experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Basic knowledge of logistics and administrative systems
• Valid Forklift Truck Licences (Counterbalance & Pivot Steer)
• Familiarity with packaging standards and mechanical handling equipment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required
