A leading logistics provider in Scotland is seeking a Warehouse Operative for ongoing work in Gartcosh. Responsibilities include sorting parcels, loading vehicles, and ensuring a clean workspace. This role offers a temporary to permanent opportunity with a pay rate starting at £12.21 per hour.

Connect Appointments are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking individuals to join our client's busy warehouse team in Gartcosh as a Warehouse Operative. This is a great opportunity for ongoing, consistent work with a leading logistics provider.

What's on offer?

• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• Working Tuesday to Saturday, 4am to 10:30am
• £12.21 per hour (rising to £13.50 after 8-weeks)

What you'll be doing?

• Sorting and scanning parcels ready for dispatch
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Picking, packing, and labelling customer orders
• Checking items against delivery paperwork
• Reporting any damaged or missing items
• Keeping your work space clean and safe
• Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties

What we're looking for?

• Previous experience in a warehouse, parcel sorting, or similar fast-paced role preferred
• Physically fit and able to lift parcels (manual handling involved)
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and in a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, especially at night
