Job description

The Best Connection are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver for our Client based in Sheerness!

Only apply for this role if you are Happy to do 60% Warehousing and 40% Driving

About this Role:

• For this role You will be carrying out a mixture of deliveries and collections throughout the week.
• This Role involves the delivery & collection of hired furniture products to various events.
• You will be required to load and unload your vehicle. The majority of the products are light weight chairs & foldable tables so nothing too heavy! Heavier items are forklifted/pallet truck onto the vehicle.
• You will have the relevant equipment available to maneuver their product. You must handle all products with care when loading and offloading your vehicle!
• Start time for deliveries: 07:30am , Finish is usually around 17:00.
• You will be working on average a 9 hour day
• BUT please be prepared to finish late on occasion! Some finish times can be as late as 8pm/9pm when Collecting hired furniture back from some events. (this usually pops up 2 times a week). Do not apply if you are not prepared to finish later on occasion.

Training is provided.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour

Guaranteed 8 hours per day.

This is an ongoing role with the opportunity of Temp to perm for the right candidate!
