Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Buckinghamshire to oversee all warehouse operations, including inventory management and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience in the FMCG sector, strong leadership and communication skills, and be adept at using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Key responsibilities include driving performance efficiency and ensuring health and safety standards are met. This is a hands-on role expecting significant involvement in daily operations.

Job description

Role: Warehouse Manager

Location: Buckinghamshire

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum

Our client is a leading company in the FMCG sector and is now looking for a talented Warehouse Manager. The role is to manage all aspects of the warehouse including Goods In, Stocktaking, Inventory, Picking, Packing and Returns and Dispatch.

They require a hands on style to lead from the front, bringing energy and experience to deliver required improvements to people and process performance.

Key Responsibilities

• To lead and manage all direct reports to deliver customer daily orders in the most cost-effective manner.
• To develop a Continuous Improvement culture to improve warehouse performance efficiencies.
• To drive KPI's in your team for health and safety, quality, customer service, labour and materials.
• Through direct reports, ensure that all functional requirements and SLA's are fully completed and conformed to.
• Develop relationships and work in collaboration with other departments to ensure stock is available.
• Ensure training within your team is completed to health and safety standards and company procedures.
• Ensure that the WMS system is fully utilised and information is maintained in line with company procedures with up to date / accurate stock count.
• Part of implementation of new ERP system in the business.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in a Warehouse Manager position in the FMCG sector.
• A hands on leader that will lead from the front on the factory floor.
• Capable of delivering excellent Health & Safety standards and a NEBOSH would be an advantage
• Experience with WMS systems and utilising them effectively
• Strong communication and leadership skills to build a strong rapport with your team and deliver a high level of performance.
