Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Salary: Up to £40,000pa

Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time

Our client is a thriving and well-established manufacturer based in Gateshead, experiencing sustained growth due to continued success. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, the company is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace where employees are empowered to grow and succeed.

They are currently looking for a Warehouse Manager to join them and provide hands‑on leadership to a small warehouse team to support the manufacturing and installation plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and manage team performance ensuring the manufacturing plan is 100% supported
  • Ensure all despatches to site are made on‑time막 and promptly
  • Maintain a schedule of cycle counting and routine stock checks
  • Optimise the use of storage space on an ongoing basis through racking reconfiguration, use of outdoor storage and the management of returned goods
  • Promote and develop a strong safety culture, lead a culture of continuous improvement and promote the application of 5S
About You

You will have proven experience in a lead warehouse role in a manufacturing business. You will have excellent leadership skills with the ability to implement CI and lean principles.

Ideally You Should Have
  • Ability to implement and effect change to improve performance.
  • Working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement techniques.
