Responsibilities

• Accurate recording, organisation and storage of samples returned from site.
• Accurate despatching of samples to internal and external labs.
• Regular review of samples stored for onwards disposal.
• Accepting deliveries of site consumables and maintaining stock levels.
• Manage and maintain equipment within the stores.
• Maintaining a high level of tidiness in the stores.
• Delivery / collection of consumables and equipment to and from site.

Skills

Relevant experience in managing a stores environment

Knowledge of racking and safe use

Overview

Are you interested in Geotechnical ground investigation for construction? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Warehouse Manager, as well as playing a vital role in helping our business succeed. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Warehouse Manager to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride. We are looking for reliable, flexible and driven individuals to join our Geotechnical team. You will be exposed to a variety of unique projects throughout the country. It is key that you have the balance to be proactive and independent, while simultaneously being a strong team player. Good management skills, and a strong understanding with experience in the industry are vital in order to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Accurate recording, organisation and storage of the samples returning from site to the stores
• Accurate despatching of samples to internal and external labs for testing using a courier
• Regular review of samples stored for onwards disposal
• Accepting deliveries of site consumables and ensuring stock levels at the Doncaster stores are maintained
• Manage and maintain equipment within the stores
• Maintaining a high level of tidiness in the stores
• Delivery / collection of consumables and equipment to and from site
