A veterinary hospital in Dewsbury seeks a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) for wards based role. The ideal candidate has experience or a keen interest in in-patient nursing and desires to provide exceptional care. Responsibilities include managing various in-patients, conducting ward rounds, and maintaining hygiene protocols. Hours: FT 40hour week, 1:5 weekends, equal share of bank holiday rota
This is the perfect position for a Nurse looking to progress in all aspects of in-patient hospital-based nursing. This includes providing patient care for all in-patients across all wards (cat/dog/isolation/ICU/exotic/wildlife), ensure effective ward rounds and handovers are carried out, ensuring effective communication with clients throughout the day and liaising with other departments to ensure smooth flow of patients between disciplines.
The candidate will require experience in in-patient nursing or have a keen interest to develop within this area. You will help to facilitate the efficient and effective management of a varied caseload within the wards including medical and surgical patients, whilst ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to patients.
We are looking for a nurse looking with a desire to focus their knowledge on all aspects of in-patient hospital nursing, protocols, and procedures to ensure the highest standard of care is provided. This role is suited for those that prefer to give hands on care. You would be part of our extensive wards team and responsible for looking after a high level of medical and surgical inpatients.

Our hospital team consists of dedicated hospital nurses, rotating nurses, student veterinary nurses and patient care assistants who provide 24hour care to our hospitalised patients and work alongside all other departments within the hospital.
