A community support organization in Nottingham seeks a Volunteer Recovery Worker to assist individuals in overcoming drug and alcohol challenges. This role emphasizes flexibility and listening skills, and offers valuable training and experience. If you value compassion and openness, we encourage you to apply. Contact Thomas for more details.
Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience for the people we support. You can make a difference.
As a Volunteer Recovery Worker with Change Grow Live, you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them reach their goals.
This role is based in any of our four projects (Hatfield, Hertford, Stevenage, Watford) across the county—whichever suits you best.
Our projects support individuals with their or their loved ones’ drug and/or alcohol issues.
No two days are the same, and we treat every person as an individual, so being flexible, curious, and a good listener are essential.
We will support you with regular supervision and on-site guidance for day-to-day questions. In return, you will receive training, gain experience, and develop skills—all while making a real difference.
Here’s what one Volunteer Recovery Coordinator said: “I like the team spirit, that we all bring something different, and we always put the people who use our service first.”
Our values are compassion, openness, and boldness. If this resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you—click apply.
