Overview

Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience for the people we support. You can make a difference.

As a Volunteer Recovery Worker with Change Grow Live, you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them achieve their goals.

The Volunteer Recovery Coordinator Support Role will support service users through drug and alcohol treatment by assisting care coordinators. This includes brief interventions, group work, recovery care planning, and signposting to specialist services.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be working as part of the substance misuse team based in Hastings.

Every day is different, and we treat each person as an individual. Being flexible, curious, and a good listener are essential qualities.

We support you with regular supervision and on-site guidance for day-to-day questions. In return, you’ll receive valuable training, experience, and skills, and you’ll be making a real difference.
