Volunteer Activities Coordinator Ladys Activity Group Bradford Hospice

Availability : Fridays 12 : 30–14 : 30

We’re looking for a friendly and supportive volunteer to help run our Ladys Activity sessions – a welcoming space where females affected by terminal illness, carers and widowers can connect, chat and take part in meaningful activities. These sessions are a valued part of the support we offer and wouldn’t be possible without our amazing volunteers.

Please note :

Due to the nature of the group and the environment we are currently seeking female volunteers only. This helps us meet specific service user needs and provide appropriate support. We welcome interest from all individuals and remain committed to equality, diversity and inclusion across all our volunteer opportunities.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Create a warm welcoming space for group activities
  • Chat with patients, carers and widowers
  • Plan and lead engaging sessions for our Ladys Activity Group
  • Promote the Ladys Activity Group within the hospice and local community
  • Identify any equipment or materials needed and liaise with your volunteer manager
  • Support with other related tasks as needed
