Overview

My client working within professional services is looking for a VKS (VMware Kubernetes Service) specialist to join them.

Location: Remote

Duration: 3-6 months

Outside IR35 - £negotiable

Responsibilities

• A VKS specialist is required to understand customer application modernization goals and translate these into a Kubernetes platform within VCF 9.
• Assist with the Future State Architecture proposal and review VKS models available within VCF 9.
• Review the customer''s requirements for containerized workloads, developer agility, security, and operational efficiency, and identify how VKS can meet these needs. Migration Options from Legacy K8s platform (Rancher) into VCF 9.

Qualifications

• Experience as a VKS specialist understanding customer application modernization goals with Kubernetes on VCF 9.
• Ability to propose future state architecture and evaluate VKS models in VCF 9.
• Capacity to assess containerized workloads, developer agility, security, and operational efficiency, and map them to VKS capabilities; knowledge of migrating from legacy Kubernetes platforms (e.g., Rancher) into VCF 9.
