About Trinity Academy

That “Each person in our school is valued, challenged, and inspired, being made in God’s image and therefore infinitely precious, morally responsible, and gifted for a purpose.” Rooted in faith, hope, and love, and inspired by Christ, we pursue excellence in character development, curriculum learning, and service to our communities. Our seven core virtues—love, wisdom, fairness, self-control, courage, humility, and integrity—underpin all that we do, shaping our mission to provide Christian-ethos schools of character for the whole community.

Trinity Academy has experienced a rapid journey of school improvement over the past three years and currently has 1,297 students on roll, with 224 places in each year group from Year 7 to Year 11, and a Sixth Form intake of 100 students per year. Our staff team consists of 184 dedicated professionals who share a commitment to serving the young people of Thorne and Moorends and their families to the highest standard.
