Contract: Full-time permanent

Reporting to: Principal

Aston Education is looking for a Vice Principal for an Ofsted Good 11‑16 secondary school in Lambeth South London.

The Vice Principal plays a central role in leading the strategic development of the school.

In this role you’ll ensure the highest standards of education, ethos, culture and inclusion across the school. You’ll support the Principal in sustaining a safe, inclusive and values‑driven environment where all students can fulfil their potential.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:
  • Degree and teaching qualification with QTS / QTLS
  • Senior leadership experience in a mainstream secondary school with demonstrable impact
  • NPQ or equivalent
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Experienced deputising for a Headteacher / Principal
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and education systems
  • Effective time‑management and IT competence (Google Education Suite)
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality and student success
