Job summary

A leading technology solutions company in Basingstoke is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development and execution of their multi-year European Operations Plan. The role requires 10 to 15 years of experience in management, strategic negotiation, and building effective partnerships. Strong leadership and presentation skills are essential, alongside a Master's degree. This position involves significant travel across Europe.

Job Purpose :

Reporting into our SVP of Specialised Solutions Europe, you will have ultimate responsibility for development and successful execution of our aggregate multi-year European Operations Plan for the Maverick AV / Signage and collaboration business unit (Vendor, Customer, Portfolio). Expected travel of 50%+.

Responsibilities :
  • Developing and executing the Annual Budget (AFC), value propositions, and tactical quarterly plans.
  • Maintaining the main partnerships (Vendor and Customers) to enable the plan.
  • Identifying, evaluating and helping to close possible acquisitions to accelerate the plan
  • Ownership of the execution of European sub-operations plan, achieving quarterly and annual business objectives.
  • Drive the building of programs and campaigns that can be executed across multiple countries.
  • Engage with Country Management exec teams in quarterly reviews and planning sessions.
  • Presenting at public events to audiences of different levels and capabilities and being a visible thought leader of the applicable focus in the IT channel
Knowledge Skills and Experience
  • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience to include managing, supervising and building solid, effective relationships
  • Master's / postgraduate Degree with MBA Field of Study preferred
  • Strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards
  • Dynamic and communicative leader with sensitivity to other’s needs, concerns, and feelings
  • Negotiate skillfully, promote / sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions
  • Create and conduct formal presentations, interacting with all levels of management.
  • Work independently with highly effective analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Constructive under pressure with efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Strong data entry and relevant advanced system applications skills, and ready to learn new systems and technology
  • Communicate necessary information clearly and maintain confidentiality
  • Experience with Pre and Post M&A deals is beneficial. Develop integration plans to ensure the successful merger of acquired companies into the existing business.
