Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant / Client Care Advisor to join our Chippenham Vets for Pets practice!

Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.

VCA responsibilities will involve supporting with clinical care of animals, so a high standard of animal care skills and experience are required.

CCA duties will include assisting all colleagues with non-clinical duties to support smooth running of the practice and provide the best standard of patient care.

This is a Part Time position working 3 days per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays.

The attributes required:

  • Our new colleague will be empathetic, passionate about the industry and will be compassionate about animal care; someone who strives to deliver the very best service for our animals and clients, every single time.
  • The role involves animal handling and predominantly supporting the veterinary team in all aspects of clinical practice, therefore we are ideally looking for candidates with previous experience.
  • There will be significant reception and front of house responsibility with the role therefore you will also need to have strong communication and customer service skills.
