A veterinary practice in Hertford is looking for an experienced Veterinary Care Assistant. The role requires excellent verbal communication skills and a passion for service to provide care for pets and support for clients. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Veterinary Care Assistant to join us at Hertford Vets for Pets!
Our practice is bright, spacious, air‑conditioned and purpose built to industry‑leading standards and has state‑of‑the‑art equipment including digital X‑ray and in‑house laboratory facilities.
We're looking for a team player who is willing to get stuck in, work hard, and keen to learn.
Your tasks will include keeping the clinic clean, tidy, and organised; feeding and monitoring in‑patients; running clinical tests; managing stock; handling a variety of small animals; helping set up for operations; deep cleaning all areas; speaking to clients on the phone and in person. Good verbal communication skills and basic computer literacy are essential.
This()=>This is a full‑time role working 40 hours per week and will include weekends on a rota basis. Part‑time hours can also be considered.
