Trainee Technician - Camper Conversions

Location: Corby, NN17 4LT

Our clients camper van business is growing — fast. They have just secured a contract to deliver three full camper conversions a month for an existing client, and with a busy order book and a solid reputation, they are ready to bring a new Trainee Technician into the team.

They convert vans into bespoke day vans and full camper builds, and take pride in doing it properly. If you're hands‑on, eager to learn, and excited by the idea of turning empty vans into adventure‑ready homes on wheels, keep reading.

What You'll Be Doing

You don't need years of experience — you just need the right attitude. You'll be working alongside experienced builders, learning every step of the production process, including:

  • Helping prep vehicles ready for conversion
  • Upholstering internal panels
  • Fitting insulation materials
  • Assisting with various stages of the build to develop new skills
  • Managing and monitoring stock and inventory
  • Keeping the workshop tidy, organised, and running smoothly

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • A BTEC qualification in Automotive Mechanics (or similar hands‑on training)
