Job Introduction

Vehicle Technicians - New Pay Plans

Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting Vehicle Technicians to join the Listers Group across Worcester and Hereford, working with brands such as Audi, Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercials, Volvo, Land Rover, CUPRA, and SEAT.

Our packages and new pay plans are industry-leading and reflect each applicant's experience and skillset.

The basic salaries start from £30,000 up to £45,000.

Bonus / OTE’s range from £32,700 up to £55,000.

Role and Responsibilities

Our technicians are responsible for servicing, repairing, and diagnosing all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard first time.

The main responsibilities include electrical and mechanical repairs, such as suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.

Additional responsibilities may include repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles, using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems.

You will have the ability to fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.

You will understand Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.

You will be trained to operate additional systems, such as video reporting (e.g., Citinos).

You will complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.

You will work closely with other workshop team members to learn and share knowledge continually.

About you

We welcome candidates from all backgrounds with experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or Apprentice Vehicle Technician.

Whether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket, or main dealer, we are interested in speaking with you.

You should hold or be working towards NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.

You must have the right to live and work in the UK and hold a full UK Driving licence.
