Our client, a respected main dealer in Newbury, is looking to recruit a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity to work Monday to Friday only, offering a great work-life balance alongside strong earning potential and ongoing training.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer standards.
  • Complete diagnostic investigations and identify faults accurately.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, within set timescales, and to a high standard.
  • Conduct road tests where required.
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records.
  • Work collaboratively with service advisors and parts departments to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and compliance requirements.
Skills & Experience
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) - essential.
  • Previous experience working in a main dealer or independent garage environment.
  • Strong technical and diagnostic ability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Full UK driving license.
